Established roots are easy to grow in moist, well-drained soil in full sun. Once they're established, they're as hardy and dependable as oaks, creating a fantastic season of bloom in your yard year after year. Peonies are considered to be relatively pest free. Ants on peony buds are common and totally harmless. For best results, transplant to a larger container. Then place plant 4 inches or less below the waters surface.
